The fruit was gently pressed off its skins and fermented for 15-20 days in stainless steel vats and aged in closed tanks under a blanket of inert gas. A straw yellow in color, the wine presents aromas of apples and pears and the palate is well balanced with delicate flavors of stone fruit and juicy acidity. Founded in 1928, La Fiera is located in the Veneto region of Italy. Today the company is managed by the third consecutive generation of the Botter family. The Veneto is known for white wine production as the soils and the mild, rainy climate are ideally suited to growing Pinot Grigio. The carousel featured on the label has been the centerpiece of La Fiera (the Fair) for centuries.
