As corn and agave are the essence of rural Mexico, Elote celebrates the importance of both to our heritage, culture and daily life. The adding of another ingredient before final distillation is typical of a traditional celebration mezcal. Unique to our family, Elote is our celebration mezcal. Elote is best enjoyed neat in a copita or as a substitute to tequila in cocktails.
Tasting notes
Flavors of rich cooked sugar, honey, tree nuts, and tropical fruits including mango and pineapple. Mid-palate turns to ash and toasted grain, with finish of nut oil and toasted corn.
