Medium to full-bodied, it has a nice balance of ripeness and fresh tension, with fine tannins, a supple texture, and a soft, stony texture followed by a salty finish with notes of high-quality black tea. It is a very appealing wine from the Borgo Scopeto team that will be best enjoyed over the next 4-6 years.
