Añejo is an experience my friend, to sip it is to make any day a little more special. We mature Añejo for up to five years in specially selected ex-bourbon American oak casks, and our distillation process removes many of the heavy alcohols that other rums leave in.

Don Andres Brugal Montaner moved to the Dominican Republic with one idea: to perfect the art of rum-making. So it was that in 1888, the Brugal company and the Brugal legend was born. Nearly 130 years later, this rum is still crafted by the Brugal Family only family members can become a Maestro Ronero.
