The Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 9 months in large oak barrels. In the glass, the wine shimmers a brilliant ruby color. The nose is intense with a charming mélange of red berries, cherries, spice and a touch of earth. The palate is lively and dynamic, overflowing with fresh red fruit flavors, taught acidity and pillowy tannins which balance each other perfectly as they lead into a crisp, focused and elegant finish.
