Aged in 100% French oak barrels, this is a lovely European style Burgundy wine which does not have the tannic astringency of a Bordeaux wine. It has a slight cherry and nutty flavor with a smooth finish. Darker than most Colorado Pinot Noirs with much more flavor. This wine pairs well with Italian tomato based foods and grilled salmon.
