Always a good value, the 2021 Trutina is a Merlot-dominated blend that includes 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. Revealing a healthy ruby/plum hue as well as attractive aromatics of red and black fruits, leafy herbs, and some floral, underbrush notes, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, a round, soft mouthfeel, solid tannins, and a good finish.
