This bottling is a majority of Sangiovese, from ~50-year-old vines, with just a few percentages of Canaiolo and Colorino blended in. The juice is fermented in steel and concrete tanks, and then 50% gets aged in oak for one year before being blended back into the tanks. A classic Chianti with ripe black cherry and tomato leaf on the nose with a palate of firm tannins and bright acidity.
