This Gagliardo Dolcetto is from the Barolo zone, specifically, from the vineyards in the La Morra and Montelupo subzones. Dolcetto is known as the everyday wine of the Piemontese. It has a bright ruby red hue with loads of fresh fruit flavors, paired with good acidity and soft tannins. Sweet, dazzlingly ripe cherry and fresh raspberry flavors. Fresh and complex with notes of violets that offer a delicate perfume, while touches of spices and white pepper follow on the finish.
