This wine exudes complex aromas of sour cherry compote, candied ginger, cedar, tangerine zest, black pepper and sweet cherry wood followed by an intriguing flavor profile of wild berry preserves, hibiscus, pomegranate liquor and plum chutney. Incredibly balanced and nicely nuanced, the finish offers velvety tannins and bright, crisp acidity.

Our founder Gary Farrell was a passionate believer in great vineyards. Long before the Russian River Valley made its mark on the world stage, Gary was out exploring vineyards in the early 1980s to identify grapes from the most promising sites in the valley. Today, the portfolio also includes select vineyard designate wines from other Pinot Noir AVAs, which provide beautiful contrast to the Russian River Valley core.
