The 2019 Syrah Jersey Girl (there’s 4% Graciano, 3% Viognier, and 1% Mourvèdre) is up with the crème de la crème and has brilliant blue fruits as well as notes of smoked game, ground pepper, and candied violets. Perfectly balanced, with remarkable purity and ultra-fine tannins, it can be drunk any time over the coming 10-12 years, if not longer.

Medium ruby-purple, the 2019 Syrah Jersey Girl is scented of cassis, white pepper, mint leaves and dark chocolate with pure touches of violet and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is youthfully fresh and firm, with restrained, mineral-laced fruits and a long, peppery finish. It will benefit from another 3-5 years in bottle.

Copious Mediterranean herbs, sage, bacon fat and fennel on top of dark cherries and black plums. Pretty fleshy and juicy on the medium- to full-bodied palate with tight and fine-grained tannins and a generous finish. 92% syrah, 4% graciano, 3% viognier and 1% mourvedre.
