This Cabernet has great varietal expression. The blending of small amount of Merlot offers the wine dark fruit and soft tannins runded out by a touch of Petit Verdot which adds richness and depth. Aromas and flavors of black cherry with a hint of black licorice. It finishes chocolaty and toasty.

Dave Ready Jr. became our winemaker in 2001 and continues in this role today. Dave’s passion, spirit and character shine through in every bottle of Murphy-Goode. The winery became part of Jackson Family Wines in 2007, allowing us to even more access to some of California’s finest coastal vineryards.
