I continue to love the wines from Robin Pollard, which always come from her estate vineyard on the cooler, western side of the Yakima Valley. Both wines represent terrific values. A blend of 44% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Red Wine Pollard Vineyard is a pretty, perfumed wine that has loads of violets, orange blossom, spring flowers, and sappy herbs aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully polished, and balanced, it's a seamless wine that shows the style of the vintage.
