This bold, direct and concentrated wine has been a single vineyard offering since the 1980s, and offers tasty black cherries, black currants and black olives with light accents of bay leaves and dark chocolate. Moderate tannins and good acid balance give an appetizing texture and set it up for further improvement with time. Best from 2026-2036.

Another inky black/red Cab, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander's Crown is potent and ripe with notes of bourbon spices, cedar, black plum, and menthol. Full-bodied and filling out the palate with a cushion of plush fruit and velvety tannins, it has a nice balance of opulence, and notes of mocha, cassis, and turned earth round out this impressive effort. Drink it over the next several years.

Ripe blackcurrant and cherry with lots of sweet oak nuances. Ripe, dark and concentrated style, big yet balanced, structured and intense.
