These vines are cultivated west (ouest) of the Terre Rouge winery on small, sandy loam hills (côtes) just outside the Amador County appellation, a few miles from the Mokelumne River. In the tradition of their other Syrahs, this wine has great flavor intensity and mouthfeel.
