Temperance Hill vineyard is high in the Eola Hills and home to the oldest vines we work with, Wadenswil clone of Pinot Noir planted on its own roots in 1983. It’s farmed by Dai Crisp. Soils are volcanic, similar to Bjornson up the road. The old vines here give an intensity and length I prize in Pinot Noir.
