In the glass, this Pinot displays a dark ruby red core with slight pink and garnet reflections on the rim. The enchanting nose is a paradigm for classic Burgundy with aromas of red cherry, underripe strawberry, hibiscus, and rose petal over savory aromatics of wet mushroom, exotic spices, wet herbs, damp leaves, and forest floor. The palate is medium-plus in body and boasts substantial depth, immense structure, and ample minerality for a village level lieu-dit. Freshly picked red fruits are perfumed with wet roses and forest floor then evolve into significant minerality for a lingering, classic finish. This wine is lovely at the moment but will start to reveal its true beauty in another 1-2 years. Pinot Noir
