Only after 12 months of maturation in oak barriques and another 6 months aging in bottles is the wine ready for release.
Its distinguishing features are a deep bright purplish color, a nose of spicy black berry fruits and jam, flavors of cherry, plum and leather. Rich and harmonious, with a dense underlying structure and a long very pleasant persistence.
The wine is ripe and soft with a juicy texture that works with pizza, pasta with meat sauce or burgers on the grill.
