The noble house gets its name from a winery built in 1743. To make eiswein (icewine) ice crystals are removed from late-harvested grapes that froze on the vine; the ultra-concentrated juice is then fermented into sweet wine. Layers of clove honey and orange blossom make the noble house a standout.
